It is a model that initially established itself as reliable work trousers, and which in the 1960s became a symbol of trendy streetwear thanks to its success with two of the most driving cultural movements in the world: music and skateboarding. Fascinated by the garment's great sturdiness, skaters reinterpreted its high-waisted look by wearing larger sizes to show off their authentic baggy style. In the 90s, the 874 made its appearance in the rap scene and was worn by major international artists.
